[Women Consumers News Reporter Shin Ye-eun] KT Skylife and Uijeongbu City held a signing ceremony on the 25th at Uijeongbu City Hall, where they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to support Uijeongbu City's smart electric wheelchair rental program.
The signing ceremony was attended by Yang Chun-sik, President of Skylife, Kim Dong-geun, Mayor of Uijeongbu, and Park Dong-hyun, CEO of HYCORE, the co-developer of the AutoWheel.
Through this MOU, Skylife will provide Uijeongbu City with "AutoWheel" smart electric wheelchairs at a special discounted price. Citizens with disabilities in Uijeongbu who have difficulty purchasing electric wheelchairs due to financial constraints will now be able to rent them from Uijeongbu City Hall for use.
Last year, Skylife signed an MOU with HYCORE, a robot control technology company, to jointly develop smart electric wheelchair products aimed at enhancing mobility for people with limited mobility and seniors, as well as providing differentiated mobility services.
